I'm coming in late to this conversation, but my first thought is that you
should stick to shooting landscapes, Graham.  You already make the rest of
us pale in comparison there.  Now, you're starting to do the same with
portraits.  :)

This is a great "problem" to have... deciding which one is better.  You
can't lose with either.  Just depends on the story you want to tell.
