Tina: The "train in snowy desert" photo is beautiful--and it reminded
me of Dr. Zhivago, too!

On a related note, I am currently reading "Journey from the Land of No,"
by Roya Hakakian. I had the pleasure of meeting Roya last year. Her
book is a beautifully-written account of growing up in Iran. Roya was a
teenager at the time of the Iranian revolution. She sometimes has Op-Ed
pieces in newspapers and on NPR.

I highly recommend the book.
