Subject: [Leica] 7-14 lens

www.bdcolenphoto.com under Personal Projects, there's a new category named
HSCI .

Yesterday I started shooting a various Harvard Stem Cell Institute labs for
a background slide show for the Institute's annual retreat in June, and I
used the 7-14 at 7mm (think) quite a bit. As you can see, what the
distortion is or isn't like all depends on what's in the frame, and how the
camera is held; some shots are virtually distortion free - some look like
they were shot in a fun house mirror. But one thing is obvious in all of
them - this damn lens is tack sharp and appropriately contrasty.

Always learning.
