Steve,

Great image, the contrast between the pastel colours and the dark (blue?) 
doorframe works wonderfully.

I took the liberty of re-doing it as black and white (I'll post it to you 
seperately) where it seems a completely different image, as if it could have 
been taken in the late 1940s. The portraits in the window especially the one 
that looks like Lauren Bacall, but probably isn't, as well as the 
handwritten 
notice.

Perhaps more evocative even than the shots on the Pont des Arts.
