[Leica] FS: M4-P w/ M3 viewfinder

This is a fairly specialized kit. I used it as a dedicated 50mm body for
street and available light photography.

M4-P #154****. Black body in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition.
Very slight impression on top plate over the vf eyepiece. I'm not certain
that I can capture it in a photo. Tiny chip of vulcanite missing near the
baseplate lug. This body was professionally converted to an M3 vf (not by
me), which I undertstand from Tom Abrahamsson's site and from correspondence
with him is no trivial feat. VF is indistinquishable from my M3, with the
exception that the bottom of the 50mm frameline dims at closest focus.

The advantage of this conversion, so far as I'm concerned, aside from the
inestimably fine, uncluttered viewfinder, is that the M4-P more readily
accepts the Rapidwinder (and other drives/winders) than the M3 (which must
be modified) and is much easier to load in haste. This has mattered a lot to
me in the past.

Body comes with original baseplate, non-Leica (Konica) body cap, and
tastefully vintaged (by me) Domke strap.

Rapidwinder shows signs of careful, but extensive use. It's clean, but shows
minor nicks on the sharp edges. Comes with box. I purchased it new several
years ago.

50/2 Summicron, fifth, tabbed version, made in Germany (#350****). Excellent
mechanical, optical, and cosmetic condition, with hood and caps.

At present I wish to sell this as a kit. I'm moving toward an all digital
workflow, and I simply don't expose much film anymore.
