This was four years ago. I think I was just learning to scan back
then. Technically, it could probably be improved it I were to go back
to the negative.

The grave just popped up on you, Richard, out of the heather. That's a
sheep in the background, not a dog, and you usually don't expect
graves in pasture. This pasture is right on the coast. He was buried
where he was found.

The number got to me as well. Nr 72 ?s. In this one area of ?s, there
are at least 71 other graves.

The waterway here was a major one for the Baltic countries, St.
Petersburg, northern Germany ... a lot of traffic, every since the
days of the Hansa.

I think I'll pull the negative out and try again sometime this summer.
