Ken,

I've use BW400CN at night (surprised? I guess not). I think that can be 
difficult to use unless you are VERY careful with the exposure.

That being said I have used it to shoot portraits by candle-light outdoors. 
Handheld. But then I was using my IIIf with 1.5 Summitar wide-open ;-) The 
results were more than acceptable given the situation.

I've spent a large part of this evening looking for the shot but can't find 
it. :-(

I have even used it with a long exposure indoors at a school play on an f4 
9cm 
LTM Elmar wide-open at 1/15th or thereabouts and produced acceptable results 
which when scanned only needed PS adjustment via levels to compensate for 
the 
slight over-exposure in pushing it 1 stop.

However it really all comes down to just how much available darkness there 
is 
and I guess how much depth of field you really need.
