Ah, but there's also this:  Those of us who've spent a fair bit of 
time fooling around with the optical best of the best have had our 
consciousness raised.  We have somewhat higher standards than the 
average for what is, and isn't, acceptably sharp and crisp imagery.   
John R. Public has never had that experience, and doesn't look for or 
at the same things we do.  It's as well...

(And it's NEVER a good idea to denigrate the taste, or intelligence, 
of one's audience.   After all, they invited YOU to show your 
work...)
