I have!  :-)   And, from what I'm seeing, I think you're right about  
the window narrowing.  I'm keeping the film gear I will use,  
regularly, and have disposed of most of what I won't use.

Back to specifics:  In your opinion, which DSLR bodies "should" I be  
looking at seriously?

The 20D is attractive to me, right now, because of it's proven  
record, price, the features I need, and because I can use a variety  
of non-Canon lenses, some of which I have.
