I'm with Doug on this one.  And note that a Leica body *and* glass rule 
would eliminate people like HCB, who used a Zeiss lens on a Leica body for 
a fair spell.  Or David Douglas Duncan with his Korean War stuff.  We're 
happy to claim them as Leica photographers, so . . .

If we must have an equipment rule, the rule for FOM2 seems more 
reasonable:  Something Leica should be used in capturing the image, whether 
it's a Leica body, lens or both.  This would allow Bessas and Hexars with 
Leica lenses, or an M-something or Barnack with a CV lens, or one of the 
classic Canons or Nikkors or Sonnars.

For the SLR crowd, we'd have to allow any SLR with a Leica lens.

We could widen it a bit more, and say that any RF camera that has a bit of 
Leica heritage applies:  This would include Canon RFs, or Epson R-D1s with 
any lens, or the Russian Leica-knockoffskys.

Or, we could simply say that the photographer, by virtue of being a member 
of the LUG, is the Leica-related component in the imaging chain, and be 
done with it.  Kyle would still qualify, because by making constant fun of 
Leicas, he proves that they are a major influence.  :-)
