Walt, I don't disagree with you really - but I do think you are
missing one important aspect to this... its not increased contrast,
its added smoke. Now frankly, I doesn't bother me as much as it might
to some but I do have to ask why he thought he had to do it,
especially if (as you said) he is under enormous pressure and
timelines.
