Tina dear lady,
Thank you very much as you've eased the leg aches after 4 day's of standing
pool side 6 hours a day.:-) Damn I must be getting old. ;-)

No matter my photographic enthusiasm and 3 a week work outs the old bod does
remind me ... "hey will you knock this stuff off!" ;-) The achy part is
over come to some degree with a few good "happy snaps" and kind comments
from yourself and other members of the crew making it all worth while.:-)

Today is the last with an "Open Water " event. Not an exciting moment to
shoot. They get in the water, swim a 10 Kilometre course in a local lake
making it about as pictorial as a fast sinking rock! A bunch of bobbing
heads going around and around.

The photo boat will have maybe 3 or 4 news photogs aboard, not me! Simply
because once on board you are trapped out on the lake! That is unless one
has the ability to walk on water and I've never seen a photographer with the
ability to do so! ;-) ;-) Pictures of any worth are usually at the end as
the "exhausted" swimmers exit the water.

But that doesn't mean you forget the start at 8 a.m.! Because if something
happens that creates the picture of the day you better be there or have an
excellent excuse for not being so. Trust me "I slept in" just doesn't cut it
with the editor! ;-)
