I can't say I'm a great fan of the TE; I have the second version and  
I find it just is not quite up to the Leica usual: seems too prone to  
flare. I know its a complex lens and I may have a dud one, but I  
remain not a big fan. Still got it though: won't be able to sell it  
now :-)
