Subject: [Leica] Wide Angles on the M8 compared to the RD 1

Hi John,
I was in Vancouver when Tom and Henning were trying out the M8 and I
used my 15mm Heliar and Henning's 12mm Heliar on both the M8 and my
RD 1. There was a clearly visible difference in the amount of
vignetting between the two cameras - more on the RD 1 compared to the
M8. This was especially impressive to me because the RD 1 with a 1.5
crop factor is more within the "sweet spot" of these lenses than the
M8 with a 1.3 factor.
Cheers
Howard
