[Leica] Digilux 3 as M8 alternative, i.e., complement

   I think my position on the Digilux 3 as an
alternative to the M8 is not all that extreme --
although I do think I should have used the word
"complement" rather than alternative.  When Leica
offered the Visoflex to extend the capabilities of the
M into the SLR realm, M users where happy to have it
until the R system came along.  Leica users did not
then give up the M system; they complemented it with
the R system.  All I'm saying is that we may come to
see the new Leica D system as a complement to the M
system.  The R system may suffer, but M, with or
without the M8, will always be with us.   Tom
