In my experience Bridge hasn't been unstable.
It is odd piece of software, a mediocre librarian with a good RAW converter
glued on.

ACDSee seems to be going in the right direction with their new Pro version,
but it looks as though Lightroom will trounce it. ACDSee still has the speed
advantage when browsing.
