"Canon is making a lot of noise about its new face detection AF/AE system (we can confirm it works well with beautiful models, not yet sure how it works with uglier faces)..." Hmm...will there be selectable AE settings for northern European white types, third-world brown types (with apologies to Howard Hunter), Pacific Islanders, deep-black Africans, high-yellow North Americans, et al? So many peoples. So many reflectance factors. It'll be fun to see how the PC ninnies react to racial profiling in a photographic context.
