I have no inside information into Adobe development. I do have insight into how much lead time is required for software development. Your statement above is a bit like saying if Ford came out with a new car that takes a totally different kind of gas, when customers have problems finding that gas the fault lies with the gas stations for not stocking the new type quickly enough. I really, really wish more camera makers would standardize on a common format. Like DNG. Or, at the very least, provide RAW -> DNG converter themselves with each new camera. Or...at the very, very least... Give Adobe the specs with enough lead time so that Adobe can incorporate the latest format into their products at about the same time those proprietary formats reach the market. -- Eric http://canid.com/
