And, of course, one of the great urban legends IS that the Beaver died in
Vietnam. In fact, there's a song by - who else - Kinky Friedman and the
Texas Jew Boys called Something's Wrong with the Beaver...and the refrain
ends with the line - "died in Technicolor, lived in black and white." But
he's still alive.
