What?  You are kidding......  This may appear to be mean, but I doubt the M8 
will be repairable in 3 years from now.  ( Some) Parts
will not be available.  Repair in the electronics age is called..... buy a 
new one.

A M6 ( not the meter) will be repairable in 100 years, if in 100 years there 
are still lathes and mills to make parts......
