I'm trying out Capture One, Lightroom, Adobe Bridge, Bibble, and Silkypix. So far, Silkypix is by far the best. It looked so much better than the others that I replaced the Vegetable Market photo on pbase after I saw how Silkypix converted it. There are not many instructions with Silkypix and the manual is a poor translation of Japanese. Does anybody know why SP does a better job than the more expensive, better known software programs? What is it doing with so few controls to make such a difference? Unfortunately, it doesn't support the DNG files from the newest Leica camera. It does support the DNG files from the R8 and R9. Why would DNG be different? I thought it was supposed to be more or less universal and not camera dependent. Does anybody know anything about Ichikawa Software Company? SILKYPIX?; It is a registered trademark of Ichikawa Soft Laboratory Co., Ltd. The re-distribution module that Microsoft? Corporation owns the copyright is included. Copyright 1994-96 Microsoft?
