When Alastair sends me the links directly (not via the LUG), with and without the <> They are not broken and do work correctly. I have Outlook 2003 (as you know). Clearly there is a lot I don't understand about mail programmes. cheers -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Brian Reid Sent: Tuesday, 21 November 2006 13:23 To: Leica Users Group Subject: RE: [Leica] toe in the water IMG: No, there is no space in Alastair's folder name. The space is put there by Alastair's mail sending program, breaking what it sees as a long line into two shorter pieces. I'm intrigued that Nick Roberts' mail program can't read the broken lines even when the URLs are surrounded by <...>. That is as non-standards-compliant as breaking the lines in the first place. _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
