funny you should mention that. my parents each have a shotgun in the attic. 
my mom fired hers last in 1971 (i believe) at a tin can, which might have 
also been the first time she fired it. and my dad fired his last in probably 
1982, most likely at a duck (though "tin can" comes in a close second in 
terms of likelyhood). neither of them were interested in being in my book, 
though they're very excited about it coming out.
