This thread reminds me of an old New Orleans R&B classic ("The Monkey") 
by Dave Bartholomew.  It starts out:

"The monkey speaks his mind ..."

and then has this couplet:

"Man descended from our noble race?
The very idea is a big disgrace."

It's a pretty funny song, along the lines of this thread discussion.
