Subject: [Leica] IMG: NW weather

Thanks, Phillipe.   This was no Katrina or Hugo.  Still, it was one hell of 
a blow.  It is very impressive to see a Douglas Fir tree with a trunk 60 cm 
in diameter snapped like a matchstick.  Especially when it is across the 
street from one's house!

Jon, glad you're OK now.  We have some friends coming over who live in 
Federal Way.  They still don't have power.  We lost it at about 11:30pm 
thursday, and didn't get it back until about 10:00pm Friday.  We called our 
phone until the answering machine picked up.  We got home, it went off 
again for a couple of hours, then came back for good.  Two cold nights, but 
we're OK
