Subject: [Leica] equatorial Africa in July?

My sister-in-law, a schoolteacher, has a grant to travel to Ghana in July 
2007. She's an avid photographer and has asked me if I have any tips for 
photography there. I don't--I've never been to Africa. Is there any LUGger 
who knows something about photography in equatorial Africa in the summer and 
who would be willing to contact her?
