Hi Leo,

No, not this time around. I had a Fuji 6x9 rangefinder once and did not
like it that much. It was quite big (not surprising given the format),
but I also thought it felt a bit plasticky. And I found the fixed,
5.6/65mm lens too limiting.

The Bronica feels much more like a Leica, in terms of size, build
quality and handling. The viewfinder is good, the rangefinder is precise
(based on the 4 rolls I have shot so far) and easy to use, and the 6x4.5
format is a good compromise--it is still medium format, but when I load
a roll of 220 Tri-X, I have 32 pictures per roll, quite close to 35mm.

Lens choice for the Bronica is limited--I have 2 of the 3 lenses
available, a 45mm and 65mm. There is also a 100mm which is rare and
expensive. But at least there is some lens choice, 3 possible lenses is
better than one. On the bright side, the relative absence of accessories
also serves to protect one's wallet :-)

Cheers,
Nathan
