Great post, Felix. I especially enjoyed the Tai Chi and also the portrait of
the soldier statue. Maybe just another stop or so DoF
would be even better for that one?

Cheers
Hoppy

I just come from receiving my M8. It's a true M! Here are some images

http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=685628

I've tested -you can read it in pictures tittles-

12mm Heliar
28mm Summicron ASPH
50mm Noctilux at f1 and *1/4000 sec* something not possible with another
M! You can see the narrow DOF
90mm Summicron ASPH
Flash: The SF20 works very well but only in A mode not any more TTL
Noise at 1250 and 2500: that is not a Canon 5D but It's right enough
Sharpness: second to none
Metering: a true M goes well even in difficult metering.
Black and white
Color shift: I did my best efforts and finally I got it: Nothing
embarrassing.

I love this camera! So much in so tiny size! I think that my EOS 1Ds
MkII goes for a big holiday!

Thanks for viewing

Felix
