.. Marc... I hesitate to mention this to you, a really intelligent person....

M8 do not have any need for a Hewes reels.......  It is us dinosaurs that 
need Hewes reels....

BTW, on the subject, JOBO tanks have an option to use special Hewes reels 
for 120 ( NOT 220) and 35mm on the plastic cores.  These
are really great......  I completely switched over to these reels....

You will invest $US 345,750 in a Leica M8 but 
won't invest $20 in a quality dark-room 
reel?  Are we having some priority problems?
