Subject: [Leica] MY first experience with an M8

All,

Is it confirmed that the IR filters do solve the problem?

And it can't be rocket science to "ensure that IR filters are available at
Point of Sale". If you buy at a Leica dealer, aren't most or all of them
dealers of high end other gear, and have stock of suitable filters? The
dealer could hand out the necessary filters, and bill back to Leica.

Wouldn't that make sense?

Vick

.....If the filters really solve the problems we're seeing, Leica needs to
figure out a way for customers get their IR filters at the point of
purchase. They must be considered mandatory - an integral part of the
camera itself, not an add-on that will improve results. Leica and the
dealers have to make this very clear to the customer up front.
