Who cares if the M8 photos show better resolution? I care.  
"Sharpening up" images where the fine detail has not been resolved  
simply enhances the "plastic" "digital" look of the image. What the  
M8 shows me in fine detail does not have that look. And yes this is a  
trade-off for other problems.
