David.... Sounds very interesting..... I would like to find something a bit 
smaller than my Lowepro Phototrekker AW..... this one
sounds almost right.....

Did you ever try to fit a Hasselblad system into that bag?  What did it hold?

I am trying to find something that would hold a 500C body ( W/ A12 and 80) , 
2 additional lenses, 2x Mutar, and a PME45.  Those are
the breakable things.... the rest could be put into checked luggage......

Including a bunch of ( gel if required) filters,  shade, additional A12, and 
extension tubes.

I use the Lowepro Pro-Mag AW2.  Just 14" (T), x 12" (W) x 9.5" (D), 
it's smaller than the new cabin baggage limits.  It's small enough, 
in fact, to fit under the seat of a 737 and still have space for my feet!
