Subject: [Leica] My Leica Infrared experience....

Don't worry - it's not about the M8 camera...:)

I took my first infrared film a few weeks ago (thanks for the help received
on this board) using my Leica III (F) from 1933 and well, it didn't quite go
as planned due to a series of mistakes and pure bad luck.

a) Had to load (and cut) the film in a dark cafe restroom,
b) Realized that the Kodak IR film has no actual ISO rating so had to make a
best guess,
c) Seriously screwed up when using the Elmar 50/3.5 in that I didn't extend
it fully causing the lens not to focus properly,
d) Realizing after about half the roll that the shutter was dragging
(something I had suspected on the prior roll but chose to ignore..).

So looking at my soft, ill exposed and somewhat fogged negatives I scanned a
couple of them for fun and here you go.
