Yep,  I just upgraded the video card in my MacPro from the standard tone 
to the fastest one from Apple and it almost doubled the speed of 
Aperture, which was not slow on my computer anyway.

The more I use Aperture the more I like it.  For me and the number of 
images I work with it has been the best workflow solution I have come 
across to date.
