I was moving his equipment around once in 6 flags in Missouri 1975 and he
handed me a piece of Kentucky Fried Chicken. A thigh. He'd bought a big
bucket though and was handing them out to everybody.
Now I defend him tirelessly to everybody.
Didn't write "I write the songs" though.
But did I think write "Copacabana" though a slightly better song. A model
had it on a mix she gave me on a cassette tape so I was forced to listen to
it in the darkroom and one night I really listened to it and it really is
something.
He's the skinniest little guy I ever saw and with a huge skinny nose.
But one piece of KFC goes a long way.
I heard they tell you to do that when the railroad hires you.
Buy a bucket on the way to work first day.
Its all down hill from there.
