There are a bunch of different types of Domke straps.....  Some have the 
interesting feature of quick release.  Not for the faint of
heart.....or expensive cameras, like more than $1.00,

The ones I have are canvas strap type material with permanent nylon (?) 
webbing attached, and the camera O rings are protected from
the body ( or vice versa) with little leather protector pieces.  They are t 
he best straps I have ever found.

Look for them, but avoid the QR feature..... one of those really stupid 
marketing ideas......
