Ah well, I wonder if the perspective were shift from right to left if
that might make a difference?

I read and enjoy the book review but political litmus tests seem to be
the fashion these days and I keep feeling a certain sense of disquiet
because of it. In today's violent rhetoric it's even more troubling.
