So, can the meter and LEDs in an R4 be turned fully and definitively OFF?  I
see nothing about being able to do so.  I had an R5 back in the 80s (a great
camera, actually, or at least an extremely good one) and I seem to recall
that it couldn't be turned off completely, either?  

I'm not missing any hidden trick?
