The ultimate combine for many years was the Gleaner from Allis Chalmers,
formerly Deutz Allis. BTW, mergers and acquisitions in the auto industry
are nothing compared to those in farm equipment. About the only company
name that remained consistent was John Deere.

Nothing runs like a Deere!  (except a good Massey Ferguson)  ;-)
