Subject: [Leica] OT: Cobra 289/427 (was Didier's PAW)

I have driven both. The 427 certainly makes more music, but in terms of 
acceleration, it could pass a 289 only shortly before reaching the 100km/h 
(60mph) speed. Dued to it's lower weight the 289 was in front first - would 
win every red light short distance duel. Considering the much better 
handling of the 289, this would be my only choice if one day I really feel 
like buying one (which can not be excluded :-)
