[Leica] IMG: Noctilux at work

I bought one of the ebay ones from Hong Kong which works OK although  
I haven't tried the "real" one.
My Noct really needs adjusting, A photographer came over this week to  
do some shots for a car mag. He was interested by the M8 (he uses a  
M6 and Rolleiflex as well as Canon digital). He tried the 35  
aspherical and Noctilux on me in good room light, the 35 shots are  
embarrassingly sharp the Noct shots focussed around collar to ear level.
So its not just me.
I have tried lots of ways to focus with and without magnifier, on and  
off tripod and in very good light,at 5ft distance the focus plane is  
always 3 or more inches behind the point of rangefinder coincidence.
