I got to feel one in the air in the early 80's but that was about it. 
I've ridden along in a few taildraggers but never tried to land one. 
Probably why I'm still around.Maybe we should dump a few Leicas  and 
chip in on a flying machine....Spent last Sat. afternoon watching folks 
fly around in parachutes with engines attached. Looked like fun but then 
I was on the ground and we all know what that means. *Better to be on 
the ground wishing you were in the air than in the air wishing you were 
on the ground. =-O *
