I had a collection of slides from Pensacola, the Philippines, Guam, and Okinawa, and shipped them home from Okinawa in a large wooden crate, about the size of an orange crate, packed full. They arrived at my parents home safe and sound, but before I arrived back in the States, my parents moved, and the crate was lost. Bummer. :-( So, I go back to these websites now and again to look at photos of some of my old shipmates, some lost on the USS Liberty, some on the Pueblo.
