Subject: [Leica] Report of M8 Base Failure

I have my disquiet about the Leica M# (very off center) tripod bush position
ever since I bought my first Leica M camera. It is a dog leg configuration
in which stress from the lens and camera mass is like twisting the base
plate when it is mounted onto the tripod.
