As I just returned from a trip to London and Prague, I was anxious to
load my M8 RAW images into Aperture. When I opened the program, it
said I had 750 photos to be put into the vault (safe back-up place).
I clicked yes. 5 minutes later, all my "lost" images reappeared.
Not sure why after three weeks, the images showed up after they had
gone AWOL. I'm a happy guy!!

I will be putting all of my Aperture images into the vault on a
regular basis using an external Lacie 500 GB drive. Many thanks for
the numerous suggestions to locate my missing files. I used the
Epson p-5000 for this trip as a way to store images rather than just
use up my SD cards. It worked like a charm.

Now to find the time to sort the photos and touch them up. Prague
was much more than expected. A cross between old world culture with
Disney World castles.

Best to all,

Richard Clompus
