Jerry:  The title is a play on "Nature mort," which is how the French say
"Still Life." Plus, after baking in a 350 degree oven while drenched in 
olive oil and balsamic vinegar, I'd say the veggies were pretty dead. :-)

Philippe:  No it didn't require an M8/Lux, but that was what I had lying 
around. . .   :-)

They were *good.* Still eating them.  We made too much for the party.
