Alicante as you already know is a very nice Region, Alicante, Valencia..., still keep bvery much Spanish authencity taht I love, I've never been in Denia but is a reccommended place to don't miss. Between Barcelona and Alicante, there are a lot of places to know, nice people, excellent food..., as La Ampolla, Sant Carles de la Rapita, L'Ametlla de Mar, Vinaroz, the Valencia beach and harbour El Serrallo, and many, many places I hope you have the time to visit. And of course, Barcelona and all his secrets..., I'll be very happy with you help with the se?oritas..... I am giving up my membership in BENELUG and swapping it for the yet- to-be-formed IBERLUG. During the coming weeks and months you might notice that my weekly postings contains less rain, fewer flat landscapes, unfortunately fewer beautiful Amsterdam streets...but instead there will be palm trees, the sea, lightly clad se?oritas and other Iberian delights. In other words, I am moving to Spain. I am starting a new job in Alicante in October, with the rest of the family to follow in January. I will miss the frequent meetings with my Benelux friends, but hopefully there will still be occasions to get together once or twice a year. And on the other hand, I look forward to more frequent meetings with the likes of Luis and to exploring the streets of Barcelona with him.
