Summer has passed. Minor league baseball has ended. Here in Sacramento
our AAA River Cats won the triple A championship!

This image, made by a Leica M8 and 35mm Sumicron. I believe this is a
good showcase for the M8's dynamic range.

Just a note, the batter is Jeremy Brown who doubled. Jeremy Brown is
one of the players featured in the book "Money Ball". Only days before
he had been dropped from the Oakland A's 40 man roster -- essentially
meaning that the team had given up on his developing into either a
major league catcher or having trade value. He cleared waivers when
any team could have claimed him and continued to play, and contribute,
for the River Cats through the rest of the season. His problem? He's
not very fast.

Thanks for looking!

Adam
