Ah.  Well, this picture is only the second in this gallery which
happened to use, er, off-topic equipment.  And in this photo you see
both the strengths and weaknesses of Canon's darned good 35/1.4L lens.
At the plane of sharpest focus, her eyes, the image stands up really
well -- even at at 100%.  Her mom's face, though, there in the
background, is treated to some serious bokeh indignity by this lens,
in the area near her right eye.

Did you check out the larger version provided by the little clicky thing
at the top?
