Yesterday afternoon we gathered to celebrate the life of my friend  
Eric. He was one of the worlds great people. He only lived forty  
years, but he sure packed a lot into those years. I am going to miss  
him. Eric loved a party. So, we did what we do in Southern Maryland.  
We drank Crown Royal, ate steamed crabs, washed them down with lots  
of cold beer, then sat around and told stories, some of which were  
actually true, or partially true, or which should have been true.. I  
wish that I had a picture of Eric to show you, but I don't. This is  
as close as I usually come of taking pictures of people. That's  
something I think I will work on changing. Perhaps I'll do it in  
Eric's memory.
